Branden Johnson and the Bobcats face Valley City State Monday night
Montana State hosts its second and final exhibition game Monday night hosting Valley City (N.D.) State in Worthington Arena.
The Bobcats earned a hard-fought 82-68 exhibition win against Saskatchewan on November 3. Will Bynum led the Bobcats with 18 points and six steals, and the team combined for 15 takeaways and forced Saskatchewan's 22 turnovers.
Montana State looks to shore things up defensively and on the boards against the 2-2 Vikings on Monday. Sasketchewan shot 50% against MSU, and out-rebounded the Bobcats 37-to-30.
Three Bobcats scored in double-digits in the exhibition opener. Erik Rush scored 17 points, also nabbing five steals, while Bobby Howard scored 16. Branden Johnson led the Bobcats with nine rebounds.
After Monday's final tune-up, the Bobcats open the regular season at Nevada on November 14.
