Montana State (12-9, 4-2) won all three doubles matches to open the contest with a 1-0 advantage.
The Bobcats pushed the margin to 3-0 as the Bengals defaulted at No. 6 singles, and were retired at the No. 1 spot. MSU’s Fletcher Keyes posted a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 4 singles over Dan Buckingham to secure the victory for the Bobcats.
MSU also received points from Jakub Dybala, Pawel Turzanski and Alberto Fuentes to close out the match.
Montana State will host intra-state rival Montana on Sunday starting at 11 a.m. in the BATC.
