Montana State junior Kaelin Kiesel earned her second straight All Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Skiing Association Second-Team accolade for her efforts this season.
In addition, the native of Ketchum, Idaho was named the RMISA Skier of the Week for a pair of top ten finishes at the league championship/NCAA Western Regional, last weekend in Steamboat Springs, Colo.
A three-time NCAA qualifier, Kiesel has been MSU’s top Nordic performer. This winter, she posted five top ten finishes, including third in the classic and seventh in the freestyle, at the regional meet. Kiesel also ranked 10th on the conference’s MVP chart.
Kiesel, along with eight other Bobcat skiers, will take part in the 2010 NCAA Championships at Steamboat Springs, Colo., March 10-13.
Also qualifying for the NCAA meet are Mellie Park, Casey Kutz, Tyler Reinking, Bernhard Roenning, Ryan Scott, Chris Barber, Michael Mackie and Amy Lattimer.
