
Bobcat Spikers Ink California High School Standout

Sarah Horton, a 6-foot outside hitter from Fresno, California, has signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the Bobcat volleyball program next season.

Horton is the fourth player signed by Schaub this season, joining Mackenzi Campbell,
“Sarah is a very versatile and athletic student-athlete that will be able to come in right away and help us out,” Schaub said. “She comes from a great high school and club program, which should carry over nicely into our program.”

During her time at BHS, the Bears posted an overall mark of 76-23, including a 26-7 mark this past season. A second-team All Central Section pick, Horton hit .367 from the floor, while posting a 46.9 kill percentage. As a sophomore, she helped her squad to a third place state tournament finish.
A three-year letterwinner for the Bears, Horton was a high honor roll student. She is the daughter of Anita and Robert Horton, and plans to major in pre-med/nursing at MSU.
