Jamie Thornton was one of eight MSU women's basketball players and 46 MSU student-athletes to earn Big Sky All-Academic honors Friday.
Montana State placed 46 student-athletes on the Big Sky Conference Winter Academic All-Conference list, the most of any league school, the conference announced on Friday.
MSU's women's basketball (eight) and women's indoor track and field (24) squads each placed the most student-athletes on the honor roll in their sports, as the Bobcats edged out Eastern Washington (44) and Weber State (43). Student-athletes with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.20 who played in at least hafl the team's competitions who have finished at least one academic semester at the institution qualify.
