Women's Golf grab hard-earned win in Pocatello
Montana State Women's Golf won the Bengal Classic on Saturday, Oct. 15 after shooting 305 (+17) at Riverside Golf Club in Pocatello, Idaho. (Individual Results | Combined Results)
Big Sky Conference member Weber State placed second with 316 (+28). Southern Utah took third, while match host Idaho State finished fourth with 331 (+43).
Kelly O'Brien and Leslie McGetrick were the medalists on the day after carding 75.
“This was a huge confidence boost for us,” said head coach Brittany Basye. “We're still learning from each and every round but we really put together a solid team effort on the course.”
Montana State will face Weber State on Sunday, Oct. 16 in match play.
