MSU receives at large berth, hosts New Hampshire
Montana State, ranked 7th in the final Fathead.com Sports Network poll, received an at large berth to the 2011 NCAA FCS Playoffs Sunday. The Bobcats host New Hampshire on December 3 at a time yet to be determined.
New Hampshire (8-3), ranked 11th, also earned an at large berth after beating Maine 30-27 on Saturday.
The Wildcats, from the Colonial Athletic Association, throw for 281.5 yards a game and rush for 162.6, and are considered a team similar offensively to those in the Big Sky Conference. Quarterback Kevin Decker leads UNH, completing 69.7% of his passes. Dontra Peters is one of four Wildcat backs who have rushed for over 300 yards this year.
MSU will post ticket information later Sunday or Monday.
