MSU defensive back finished his career last fall
Eryon Barnett, a Montana State defensive back from 2012 to 2014, died suddenly in Bozeman on Saturday.
A popular player who started when healthy last season, lost much of his senior campaign to pancreatitis. He suffered from that condition, along with several football-related injuries, during his time as a Bobcat.
Barnett transferred to MSU from Texas. Upon arriving in Bozeman he reunited with several former teammates from Euless (Tex.) Trinity High School, including DeNarius McGhee, Tray Robinson and Na'a Moeakiola. He passed away mid-afternoon Saturday.
More details will be posted as available.
