MSU hosts final spring scrimmage on April 15 from 7-9 pm in Bobcat Stadium
A pair of Bozeman traditions are teaming up this spring when Montana State's Sonny Holland Spring Game, presented this year by The Rocking R Bar, moves to the evening hours on Friday, April 15. The Bobcat football team's final spring scrimmage begins at 7 pm in Bobcat Stadium.
Prior to the scrimmage, the Rocking R Bar hosts a Bobcat Fan Appreciation Tailgate Party at the Great Falls Tailgate area northeast of the Bobcat Players entrance to the Stadium. That event begins at 5 pm, with complimentary hamburgers, hot dogs, Pepsi products and bottled water. A DJ will provide music, and 1,500 koozies will be given away. Present that koozie at the R Bar after the scrimmage for a free beverage.
The Sonny Holland Spring Game will feature games and activities for fans. Register at the tailgate area after 5 pm on scrimmage day to participate. Activities include kicking field goals for prizes, which is highlighted by a $1,000 donation to Eagle Mount and Special Olympics.
The MSU Bookstore will sell merchandise on site, and fans are asked not to bring alcoholic beverages to tailgates.
