Annual day of fun set to kick off 2016 football season
Bobcat Athletics celebrates the upcoming football season with a free day of fun for the entire family.
Montana State's annual Family Fun Day begins at 5 pm on Saturday, August 20 featuring an autograph session with Bobcat players and coaches, inflatables and other activities for kids of all ages on the field, and free ice cream. At 7 pm, the Bobcat Stadium scoreboard brings to life a featured movie for the third annual Bobcat Movie Night. Fans attending Family Fun Day in Bobcat gear receive a complementary ticket to the first Bobcat Volleyball home match on September 22.
Fans may cast a vote for one of three movies on the Montana State Bobcats Facebook page to help choose the evening's featured event. Zootopia, Angry Birds and Minions are the three possible selections. Family Fun Day and Bobcat Movie Night are free, and water and popcorn will be available to purchase before and during the movie. For protection of the field, items such as outside food and drink, pets and lawn chairs are prohibited.
The Cats open their 2016 home season with the 10th annual Gold Rush Game on Saturday, September 10 against Bryant. MSU season football and volleyball tickets are currently on sale, with single-game football tickets available starting Friday. The Ticket Office at Bobcat Stadium opens from 5-7 pm on August 20.
