Marisa Escobedo serves as the Financial Aid Coordinator for Student Services – Compliance in Bobcat Athletics, a role she began in July 2022. In this position, Escobedo oversees athletic financial aid and scholarship processing for all student-athletes. Her responsibilities include managing aid agreements, monitoring student accounts, coordinating NCAA Signing Day documentation, and administering athletic and Cat Scholarships. She also organizes and distributes monthly housing and food stipends, while collaborating with departments across campus on student-athlete accounts, FAFSA, and international tax matters.
Before joining Bobcat Athletics, Escobedo gained experience in accounting, student services, and donor engagement. She worked in Student Accounts at Montana State University (2021–2022) as an Accounting Associate, where she handled daily billing office operations. She previously served as a contractor with Portland General Electric (2020–2021), assisting the billing office with accounting system reconciliation during the pandemic. At Western Oregon University, she held multiple roles in the Business Office, Foundation, and as a Student Health Peer Mentor, where she supported financial operations, donor outreach, and student wellness initiatives.
Escobedo earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing & Sports Management from Western Oregon University in 2021.
She resides in Three Forks, Montana, with her husband, Calvin, and their two dogs, Maggie and Rudy.
