David Steinbeck serves as the Director of Equipment for Olympic Sports at Montana State University, a role he began in September 2022. In this position, Steinbeck oversees ordering, inventory, and distribution of apparel and footwear for several Bobcat programs, including Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Volleyball, Men’s and Women’s Tennis, Golf, Track & Field, Cross Country, and Alpine and Nordic Skiing. He also assists in managing daily operations within the equipment department, ensuring that each program’s needs are met efficiently and professionally.

He resides in Bozeman, Montana.
